Writing

Notes from the shore, written slowly. Most of it comes from real project logs — including the rework and the proposals I sent back. Click a title to open its summary.

  • An equity curve is the easiest thing to fool. I check three things: reproducibility, whether assumptions are explicit, and whether errors get swallowed silently.

How I write

Method over conclusions

Conclusions expire; methods don't. Every piece tries to keep the reasoning, including the wrong turns.

Failures over victory laps

Rework, rejections, crash sites — that's where the real cost is. A record of successes only is worth nothing.

No marketing copy

No "disruptive", no "revolutionary", no "must-read". If something is worth saying, plain statement is enough.

To see where the method lands, read the records under projects, or meet the keeper on the about page.
